This little one fell into my watering can yesterday in the field, and in a moment of Mark Berkery inspiration, I photographed her while letting her dry on my finger. My photographs are not as nice as his, but still cute, I hope!
It’s like how to wash your hair, but for bees.
Step One: Stretch!
Step Two: reach for antenna.
Step Three: grab antenna
Step Four: pull antenna down
Step Five: arrange it so that it can be pulled along the inside of your legs
Step Six: pull it through your legs, thereby cleaning it of any debris
All clean!
