Take a Hike!: Wollumbin edition

Wollumbin (or Mt. Warning) is a mountain in New South Wales, Australia.  It is the first point in Australia to reach the morning sun, and so many people hike it in the dark with torches to be at the summit by sunrise.  I’ve hiked it twice, both times in the middle of the day, and in the pouring rain.  It’s not a difficult hike, but I think it would be tough in the dark!

Summit! At least we get a glimpse of the surrounding mountains through the clouds!
