Spring is in the air

And so is love!  This is a mating pair of Osmia cornifrons that I was fortunate enough to stumble upon.  They were good photo subjects because they were too focused on…other activities to notice me!

The female is darker and redder and she has two "horns" on her face which she uses to pack down mud
