Missing all that colour

Le sigh…with highs in the teens (18 F or -8 C) tonight, I’m missing all the colour in my world.

So, you know me. Autumn photo vomit.

  1. Wow! What wonderful apples! Is that first one an apple or a pear? Looks kind of like an Asian pear, it’s the right color and shape. But that red one . . . that one looks delicious! You take some really stunning “vomit”! You are missing color and we have not even got color yet. My maple is still green though we have been down to freezing, for us it’s really early and we broke a 111 year old record when we got down to thirty last night. Our trees still have not got the hint that it’s almost winter. I do suppose they will get it . . . eventually! Though we had a lot of wind and it stripped green leaves from a lot of the trees. Your pictures as always make us see things we would not otherwise notice, like that single red clover.

    • I thought that single red clover looked so beautiful, nestled amongst the golden grasses.

Haha, yes I’m sure your trees will eventually get the hint that winter is on it’s way! It’s looking pretty barren here now.
