Contrasting sunny and cloudy days

Pun intended!

Sunny days in the middle of winter are rare gems.  They are so lovely, and everything is in high contrast.  Since I posted a couple of days ago about the way the winter world looks like when the sky is white (hint: like this:

I thought it was only fair that I show the brighter side of winter.

  1. Well, now you’ve done it! You managed to make sunlight look cold! All that sunshine just shows how much cold snow is piled up everywhere! But, rather have sunshine than clouds, though both have their beauty. That picture of the frozen waterfall all covered with soft snow is terrific as is the picture of the drifts in the black iron curves of the bike racks, nice contrast there! Thank for the bright snowy view!
