Take a Hike! Pine Creek Rail Trail

This is a hike I did with a couple of buddies a few weeks ago in the Grand Canyon of PA. I’ve hiked a lot in this region, but I’ve never explored the rail trail, which stretches more than 60 miles. We met in Leonard Harrison State Park, which has an overlook of the PA Grand Canyon, then drove to Darling Run and shuttled a car to Wellsboro.

So our hike was about 8.9 miles, by our estimate, and went from Wellsboro to Darling Run. Because it was nice and flat, it only took us just over two hours. A lovely day in early spring…
