Andrena on apples

*Update! My taxonomist friend says this is likely Andrena mandibularis or another bee of the subgenus Andrena for those who are curious!

Double Update! I’m using crappy hotel wifi, so I’m having trouble getting the images to show, my apologies if they’re not showing up on your screen. I’ll see what I can do to fix it!

The mining bees, or the Andrena, are abundant on apples in the spring, and are thought to be one of the most effective apple pollinators.
