Take a Hike! (with me?): Unnamed trails in New York

Sorry if you saw yesterday’s chickadee post before I fixed the photos!  They should be fixed now, but let me know if there are any other problems.

This hike was actually a few weeks ago, but I haven’t had a chance to post them until now.  I was exploring these trails with Rascal and her human, and if you look closely, you can find Rascal in almost every photo.  As far as I can tell, the trails were unnamed.

The dam where silly kids jump into the water from a cliff.  Illegally.  A teenager died here doing just that last week 😦

This must have been a few weeks ago if the wild geraniums were still flowering.

Haven’t figured out this Apiaceae yet…

I’ve been trying to capture sunlight on leaves for a while…I feel like this photo finally captures some of the beautiful depth.

The sunset makes the forest look like it’s on fire sometimes.
